Re-design of Private Home, Hull. My first solo architectural design project to be realised; completed in January 2014.

The homeowners found the house didn't work for them and as such I designed a re-configured layout for the house. Previously, the living room acted as a corridor so I proposed knocking through an old cupboard and part of a bathroom to create a hallway and blocking up a second door to the living room. The clients now have a coherent layout with a hallway which connects the areas together and isolates the circulation space to define the rooms. The living room and bathroom now have clear identities and feel complete as spaces. The clients are thrilled with the results already and state that their home now works for them and is already having a positive impact on their everyday lives.
