Queensgate Revival Young People's Design Project, Huddersfield. The project was commissioned by Kirklees Council's Regeneration Development Service between 2008-9.

 

I volunteered, along with 10 fellow architectur students, for the project which comprised of two parts: A) analysing the Huddersfield regeneration scheme and personally designing an intervention and B) devising workshops which we then implemented in local schools to involve young people in regeneration. Whilst funding was secured our designs were exhibited in Queensgate Market and a video documents the entire journey.
