Middlehaven Design Competition, Middlesbrough. I entered this design competition in 2011 which was a for North East architects/designers/entrepreneurs aged 33 and under. The winning entry would form part of the Riverside One development in Middlehaven by BioRegional Quintain and the competition was run by Northern Architecture.

The design brief asked for a number of timber huts across the site to provide facilities for residents which would all be based on a single design approach and construction system solution. Therefore the design needed to be flexible and replicable but it must be made of timber. Although not the winning proposal, I received brilliant feedback on my entry.
