Design // Great North Build

Great North Build, Great North Museum: Hancock, Newcastle. I worked as a Project Facilitator on this exhibition for Newcastle University in 2012.

As a core group of 9 we designed, built and then facilitated the Great North Build. It was an interactive Lego exhibition which encourged the public to build a fictional city whilst facing daily, unexpected real-life planning scenarios. The intention was to get more people thinking about how to plan a city to accommodate every social group sufficiently and to allow the general public to understand all the aspects city planners must take into consideration.

There are a plethora of photos and videos showing the design and construction of the exhibition as well as the exhibition itself.
