Architecture // Formula Electric

Formula Electric pits and paddock complex, London. This project was undertaken during my final year of the MArch (Part II) postgraduate degree.

 

A Formula Electric event only lasts for one day and takes place on major global city streets. As such, the facilities are designed to be demountable, transportable and lightweight. It is also important for the architecture to reflect the values of the sport; allowing the spectators to get closer to the action and demonstrable 'green' credentials.
